FAQ
Quality art materials make quality stains. Please wear something that you don’t mind getting messy. The yurt is lovely and warm and we’ve got a beautiful outside space which we use often so please wrap up warm with plenty of layers ready to adapt to both indoor and outdoor spaces. There is a short walk from the carpark to the yurt with meadow underfoot so supportive footwear is advisable.
Renboga is set inside a yurt on a wildflower meadow with an outdoor composting toilet, so be prepared for things to be unavoidably muddy and bumpy! There are a variety of chairs in different shapes and sizes to choose from and sofas, bean bags and hammocks for comfort breaks. Sessions are run on a very relaxed schedule so there is always time to move around. We also offer home visits and are more than happy to meet you where you are (both in terms of geography and mobility). If you or your child have any other access requirements we really want to hear from you and will do all we can to make Renboga a welcoming and comfortable place for you.
Renboga is all about choice, flexibility and self expression. At Renboga we welcome creative chaos and unusual characters! The experience is different for each person, and changes and develops depending on the interests and inspirations of the artist. Processes can be demonstrated with visual and audible instructions, or materials can be enjoyed without any instructions at all! Sessions have a very relaxed pace with lots of opportunity to move, take breaks, try something new or ask for help. Artists are encouraged to work on their own projects from their choice of a range of self-selected materials so each ambition can be planned to fit the abilities of the artist and no two projects are ever comparable. Many sessions also welcome a wide range of ages. You can choose from 1:1 sessions (on site or at your home) or from a variety of small group sessions. Please get in touch to let us know more about you and how we can make the Renboga experience work for you!
All art materials are provided and there will be a very exciting, high quality selection to choose from. However you are very welcome to bring any favourite tools or materials from home if you want to use them. We will provide hot and cold drinks and homemade snacks or you're welcome to bring your own refreshments if you’d prefer. It is a good idea to bring some spare clothes to change into after the session in case you get very painty or muddy. We’re always thrilled to see examples of your work so feel free to bring them with you or email photographs ahead of time.
